Rohann Lightbourne the founder and chief executive of R.DesignsUK (RDUK) say 's "the company is more than just designs on clothing. Our aim is to motivate, inspire and encourage individuals and especially the younger generation to live successful lives."

This society is saturated with stories of crime and under-achievement and many young people do not see beyond there current situation. There is not enough positive input into the lives of these individuals, no encouragement or motivation = the perfect breeding ground for negativity.

Our society is dis-functional but it doesn't have to be that way. Encouragement, motivation and sound advice would go a long way but the most important part is reaching their lives in a way that they can relate to. This is the challenge that RDUK has accepted with open arms.


Rohann is a strong believer in achieving against the odds; completing his secondary education with top marks from a school which in his words 'wasn't one of the best!’ He says, 'if you put the work in with the right attitude you can achieve anything in life. ' Rohann continued with this mind set and completed a Visual Art and Design course at the Brit School before graduating from Kingston University with Distinction as well as receiving a highly acclaimed D&AD Best New Blood medal for his poster campaign against Gun Crime.

Rohann is now focused on the success of R.DesignsUK and many more exciting projects are in the pipeline. This is only the beginning for RDUK and the best is yet to come.
