Choices.

Consists of eight one-hour lessons. It can be delivered in schools or youth clubs to groups of up to 30 young people aged 11-16yrs working with one or more teachers or youth leaders in a classroom or similar setting. It can be delivered on a single day or over eight timetabled lessons. Alternatively, we can tailor our programme to meet your group needs.

Ideal for schools teachers, tutors or youth leaders seeking to promote self esteem and respect for diversity, with a particular focus on how Young People can develop a positive identity and relations with others that are respectful of racial, cultural and religious differences. Range of topics covered includes:

• Self-esteem and a positive sense of identity.
• Stereotyping and attitudes towards difference and diversity.
• Consideration on the benefits of cultural diversity and social inclusion.
• Getting Involved – identifying ways of making a difference in and out of school.
• Who you are and how you can achieve your full potential.

Choices - designed to provide an appreciation of the importance and characteristics of good communication, with practical tools to build confidence and life skills, in line with Every Child Matters, Youth Matters and Families Matters.
